Avril completed the final of her 4 runs for Silvana to raise funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

Her runs included the Gold Coast Half Marathon in July, The Bay Run in Sydney with Benny (her dog and our Chief Happiness Officer) in August, the Sydney Half Marathon in September and the Venice Marathon last Sunday, 27 October. Check out our Facebook page for photos.

Avril’s update on Monday after the race:

“I did it!!! Completed in 5 and 1/2 hours despite fog and 80% humidity! Beautiful scenery, great race and spectacular finish in Marks Square, knees and leg muses very sore tonight, but ecstatically happy! Silvana enjoyed the fun on my back”
